Chocolate is the most romantic gift given to us mankind, so the time when we are enjoying the chocolate, have you ever thought about where it comes from?


Cote d 'Ivoire, located in West Africa, has another beautiful name, ivory Coast. But it seems god has forgotten the country. Tens of thousands of cocoa farmers live there, but they do not know that cocoa is used to make chocolate. They even think that the cocoa beans exported to Europe are used to make wine for local people, some of whom have never eaten chocolate made from cocoa beans in their lives.


West Africa is the world's leading producer of cocoa beans. However, newly planted cacao trees, which take at least five to six years to bear fruit, they are clearly not ideal economical crops. On the other hand, the production value of cacao has been decreased because of poor farming methods, depletion of soil nutrients and aging of cacao trees. Cocoa farmers and their families continue to live in poverty.
Will we still have chocolate to eat in the future? For our eternity chocolates, many international organizations have taken action, they go to west Africa, Asia and other places of the cocoa farms and community, committed to let them go out of poverty to get rich.
